Use the July 2026 law: The revised RSA 193-A makes a declaration optional except when withdrawing from a public school or seeking access to public-school programs. Older participating-agency notification forms describe a superseded process. Direct learning and keep useful records: The July 2026 revision repealed the former portfolio and annual evaluation section. Parents direct the program; keeping learning evidence remains useful for future transitions but is not the repealed annual assessment mandate. Keep EFA participation distinct: Education Freedom Accounts operate under a separate statute and agreement. Confirm the program’s notice and assessment requirements instead of assuming they are identical to independent home education.
