Alabama · Equipment & supplies
Find equipment for everyday life.
Find new and used special needs equipment: wheelchairs, crutches, walking aids, medical supplies and more. Choose your county to explore supplier locations and equipment loan or reuse programs.
Choose an equipment type, or enter an item or supplier name. Listings are contacts, not live stock or sale advertisements.
Borrow, reuse or donate equipment
Statewide contacts can help you find a nearby program. Equipment and pickup locations vary.
Contact Alabama’s assistive technology program about borrowing devices, used-equipment options, donations, and local partner locations. Ask which items and ages it supports, how to apply, and where to collect equipment.
Ask the center serving your county whether it operates a loan closet or can suggest local equipment donation or reuse programs. Not every center supplies equipment.
Confirm stock, condition, price, rental terms, delivery and pediatric sizes. Ask a clinician or equipment specialist about fit and safe use. A Medicare listing does not establish Medicaid, private-insurance or children’s coverage.
Supplier names, addresses, phone numbers and reported equipment categories come from the CMS Medical Equipment Suppliers dataset ↗, retrieved September 29, 2026. Counties are mapped from supplier coordinates using Census county boundaries ↗; they identify locations, not delivery or eligibility areas. Addresses and inventory have not been individually reconfirmed. Supplier locations that could not be mapped to one county in their reported state were omitted. Not every business or county is represented.
Loan and reuse contacts use the AT3 state program directory ↗ and linked program sources. Programs may arrange referrals rather than hold every type of equipment. Costs and availability vary. These pages do not accept payments or family equipment advertisements.
Donated equipment, food & essentials
Explore private charity programs and community gifts. National options remain available when you choose a county; local supply and eligibility vary.
Avoid scams: never pay a fee to claim a grant or donated gift. Verify the organization before sharing personal or banking information.
Coverage & sources
Listings link to official charities or networks. They do not guarantee an office, volunteer or donated item in every county. Donation sources and restrictions appear with each listing; published financial reports describe a specific year. Confirm current availability directly.
